Rooted in Relationships
Supporting the Adults Who Support Children
Healthy Minds Healthy Children (HMHC) is Wisconsin’s statewide infant and early childhood mental health consultation program. Spearheaded by the Wisconsin Alliance for Infant Mental Health (WI-AIMH) through funds from the Department of Children and Families, this program is uniquely designed to empower the adults who support the education and development of infants and young children.
Our trained and dedicated team of mental health consultants is focused on building relationships with the adults who support children from birth to five years old, to help build new skillsets, and to increase the capacity of those adults to lay the foundation for healthy growth and development.
Healthy Minds Healthy Children consultation services are offered at no cost for early care and education programs and home-based care providers in Wisconsin At this time, services are available in select regions of the state, with plans to expand throughout Wisconsin. Supporting Early Care and Education Providers

Our team is here to help the adults in these roles feel more confident meeting the mental, behavioral, social, and emotional needs of the children and families they serve. In doing so, we hope to improve the lives of children and ECE providers, while preventing staff burnout.
